This past weekend I binge watched all episodes of the Netflix series ‘Down to Earth’ co-produced by Zac Efron and Darin Olien, and oh has it been enlightening. No spoilers…you will need to get onto Netflix & view this series yourself.

We really do need to take lessons from those doing the right thing by our precious planet and make our fleeting time here count for something. After all we are simply passing through. I am impressed by Zac’s interest, curiosity and his commitment. Success and fame came to Zac early and as he puts it quite unexpectedly but he questioned his purpose on Earth. I liked hearing him say that he thought that success without purpose is meaningless – how very true!

It is astounding to me that so many still question the validity of global warming and how ironic it is when towards the end of the last episode shot in the Amazon rainforest we see Darin Olien impacted in an excruciatingly personal way.

If you haven’t seen this series yet, do commit to seeing it – it is so worth the watch & I cannot wait for Series 2.
